Ciudad souvenir
In the framework of Madrid Grafica, I was invited to hold an exhibition at IED along with a workshop aimed at design and illustration students. The brief: tourists invade the cities thanks to low cost airlines and the uberization of everything, from bedrooms to tapas… Everywhere, from Madrid to Venezia, the impact on locals is enormous and leads sometimes to an open civil war. The students made projects for unconventional, political, funny and multilingual t-shirts that we printed in silkscreen. Playing with both local issues and international trends, they sent a message about the places we must continue to share.
